Felt like blogging for once after so long and here it is

Woke up at 11am getting ready for my first social dance!! LOL.. Well.. I did not really signed up for it but my coach’s friend who is the dance instructor needed the support of guys to help out as male dance companions and thus we were asked to go.

Was agreed that we will meet at 1.15pm at boon lay mrt and Ta Da! I was on the dot LOL.. Other 2 who were on time were jia jun and jun xian and well.. as usual Lister was slightly late :O

Jia Jun, Jun Xian and me went ahead and we reached the Community Centre first and we were shocked at the woman we saw.. Inside us, we all thought, if all the dance partners are like her, we would die.. Can you imagine that? Fortunately, what came in after lister reached were rather decent with them a rather cute girl

Initially we were very awkward and all the guys(JJ, JX, Lister, Nic, HK and me) were standing in one line right at the back not knowing what to do and there were 2 other guys whom we don’t know. Then came the actual thing.

We were made to stand in a line behind the girls and we started practicing the basic steps that the instructor was teaching such as moving forward, sidewards, backwards and then turning. After those steps it was a combination of them and thus we were separated into pairs and i was paired with that cute girl amongst all those girls.. was it fate or was it due to my height(rather average) .

We were learning salsa and thus i had to hold her hand and her back to support her. As beginners in salsa, both of us had difficulty in following the steps but with practice we manage to slowly pick up the steps and i really enjoyed dancing with her.

Halfway through the dance, the instructor asked for a swap of dance partners and the partner i got in exchange made me rather uncomfortable and deep inside, i really wanted to continue dancing with her than this dance partner and not sure what struck the instructor, he asked for us to switch back to our original partner!!! Thanks! instructor!!

She was clapping when i was back with her and the instructor teased her about having me back as partners and i really wondered if she wanted to continue dancing with me like i had felt.

After dancing, we get to know each others names and the shyness made me leave her and stay in my group of friends and thinking of it now, i regretted not asking for her msn address and phone number!

After that we left and proceeded to our individual destinations and i headed to church. The trip to church was filled with thoughts of her even though i was chatting with my friends and i even missed the stop i was supposed to go down! In the end i had to take the MRT on the opposite direction to reach my church.

During Church service, I felt so tired and was falling asleep but each time my mind flashes her image in my mind, i felt revitalized! The speaker spoke about money and how the importance of money for man and god are worlds apart. Man seek for worldly wealth and God wants us to seek instead for wealth that exist forever. What we need on this period of life will be provided if we seek first for what god want us to do.

Going back home, i found my dad watching korean drama and decided to join him. In the midst of watching, every time i see the main female character, my mind would flash images of her and i would smile for no reason what so ever! It was this time that i realized that i might have had a crush on first sight and I am looking very forward to the next lesson when i will meet her again. My life, my mind and plans are all in my control till today, and now everthing is crashing down because i suddenly felt like i was no longer in control of who i am and what i do and how i think. Next week shall unveil all those doubts i have in mind and whether its a illusion that i see today or a reality shall be determined next week!! Next Week here i COME!!
