I need to make this a quick post since I’m having to sort through a lot of trouble right now.
We’ve had some issues with our datacenter, and in the confusion, they’ve sort of unplugged our premium servers.
I’m talking to them right now and I’ll get this sorted ASAP. All customers will get an appropriate extension on their accounts for this downtime.

Actually it’s more of wrong estimations.
We were moving to a new network and a better dedicated setup with redundancy. So we submitted a cancellation request to the current network when the billing period ended.
Billing period was due to end on 2nd August. They canceled both the servers yesterday. That too, when I was in midst of downloading the file backup.
Else we would have been online on the new network by now. But now I’m waiting for them to give me my backups/files before I make the move.

Pitiful. To me it seems you paid for a service that they terminated early in retaliation for you dropping them for another, better host. Damn Americans, people get sued for less than this, they should tread carefully.

Retaliation – possibly. But should have been unlikely, because when we submitted a cancellation request, they tried their best to retain our business. We told them what we were getting on the new network and for what price. And they matched it. I told them we would order a new (second) server with them in the coming week. And they go and do this.
So, they were ABOUT to gain more business from us than they currently had. But, seeing as how they almost never have support when needed, I guess they just lost it.

Account extensions are customers’ rights. It’s not their fault we’re down. So they deserve compensation!

Everything is stored/alive/as it is. You might need to, in some cases, ‘regenerate’ those links from the Show Downloads area. But other than that, everything is safe. Don’t worry.

Hello Hamza!
I am a new Premium User, & i wish to thank you as well. At first i thought i had a problem with my browser, until i saw the link page directing me to here to find out what is going on, very much appreciated. Could this problem have anything to do with why i was having some difficulty downloading approximately 26 hours ago? I would go to download & the file quite often say that it was only something like 11 bytes instead of 200MB, i would just cancel and try again a couple times & it would change. Thank you for your time & hard work.

I don’t suppose this would have anything to do with the 11byte file problem. Apparently, that’s a known issue and I guess you got it because of a dynamic/session IP address.
Once the service is backup, I suggest you open a ticket at the helpdesk and we’ll work with you to solve the problem

Speeds WILL be improved and you WILL be compensated appropriately.
ETA to getting things back in order is about 6-18 hours from now. I’ve been pinging my current host time and again since last night. I’ll make sure I get my files out of them, don’t worry.

We got the files just a few mins back. Me and Dman are working to restore everything.
When you login to your account, you’ll see that it has been extended by 4 days. This goes for everyone. As soon as we’re done bringing the site back up, I’ll publish a post with all the details.
