the only reason I use the link generator is for hotfile, cause hotfile…

i really fucking love the hotfile link generator on this website though, i hope it doesnt go down for the public accounts.

however, if you guys are basically purchasing an account, and then it gets closed within a few days, then you guys basically give them money, (i donno, what, 5 bucks for a week or something), use it for 2 days, get it closed, and lose the 5 days left you should have.

i’m hoping hotfile has something like a one day service thing, so even if they did close your account it wouldn’t matter, the service only lasts for a day anyway.

so buy the shortest term prem account for the public login.

but that’s just wishful thinking. chances are you guys are gonna close down the public hotfile link generator for good, and I guess it’s just something that might have to be done.

ps, the other significant reason why hotfile is gay is because randomly they’ll implement their antidetectable captcha, rendering programs like j-downloader useless.

hotfile wouldnt be as painful if jdownloader could recognize it’s captcha, but jdownloader doesnt.

i mean, rapidshit gives me shitty speed, AND it’s wait times are pretty bad (15 minutes).

but it has 0 captcha, so i can just auto download it using jdownloader and im good to go.

well i use this site mainly for hofile (as public don’t have RS and MU is resumable for all…other host doesn’t matter)….but the the stuff hotfile is doing is just annoying …i fully support your decision from dropping it (even though i just happened to download a load of files from there) and plzz if hotfile becomes better (that means remove all the shit) you’ll pick it up….good luck…

I’d be screwed if HF support is dropped from the public account. 99% of the files I download are stored on HF. Plus, I don’t have a credit card and can’t buy a premium account. Also, I share my external IP address (have no idea why, ask my isp) so the downloading times are infinite on HF and other filehosting sites:(

Finally my connection speeds are at average 10k/s… RP saves my life by allowing me to resume dwlds.

I don’t think that’s possible because as we all know, there’s daily quota limit and to support the public users means RP will have to provide a lot of RS accounts (which I don’t think it’ll be feasible).

I don’t think they really could put RS back up on the public since they have to continuously buy bandwidth for the accounts, due to RS’s limits that they impose. But at least RS is honest to the public and doesn’t falsely advertise unlimited bandwidth per day and then cancel peoples accounts who go over a certain bandwidth (like HF).

Hotfile are thieves! If you buy a account and DL too much they will change your pass, say you were hacked and then ban you for “illegal activity”. If you upload to them they will suspend you for no reason if you don’t bring them enough sign ups and then not pay up. And there is a string rumour floating around that they are selling your IPs and emails to the Feds to avoid being shut down.

u people out there dont purchase hotfile accounts no more, u pay for premium account, but there is nothing to download using hotfile, anything u want to d/load, is either removed or it returns 404 error. it is now a con spread the word hotfile is taking money from u fraud, and yes they are selling ur info to the feds, i iknow cause i`ve hadd a visit from them but i dont do my activities at my place so sucked in shit heads.
