Another round of update(s). I’ll try to keep this short. Have a lot of work to do on the RP network
So, with the Hotfile scam out of the way (and no, it’s not solved yet. They never replied after that), me and Dman have decided we’ll adopt a different approach. We both realize the importance/popularity of Hotfile. And there’s no way we would ever discontinue it.
Consider it something like this; we’ll just beat Hotfile at their own game. How? More details on that later. We’re just coding a new system for Hotfile. Dman tells me it’ll be up and running by Friday (if all goes well). So expect Hotfile support to be back up and running, soon
That said, the other part of the update(s) is our Premium Account sales. We sold out all 70 accounts 2 weeks back. As expected, our inventory lasted for a mere 3 weeks, before it was sold out. I’m currently re-designing the entire look and back end for the premium area. Once that is done, I’ll ask for the current members’ reviews, and post them publicly on the blog. Consider that as me showing off our success. But hey, all our premium members are happy. We’ve yet to have a complaint that suggests dissatisfaction.
We’re releasing another batch of 70 premium accounts (Yep, we bought a new server for more accounts) and we don’t expect those to last for more than 3 weeks, either. Once they’re up, I’ll announce them everywhere (including this blog). So if you missed out on the first batch, make sure you get it on the second.
Pre-launch reservations are allowed to. If you’d like to reserve an account for yourself in the next batch, use the contact link above to email us and let us know. We’ll add your name to the reserved list.
And finally, the last update (but not the least, perhaps the most exciting one) is the launch of our next competition. The competition will be related to graphics/design. We’ll have 3 winners. All 3 of them will be awarded with an absolutely FREE Premium Account, for 4 months!
More details on this in a few days
That’s it for today. I’ll post more updates as and when we have them.

So, I decided to step things up a notch and take it head on with Hotfile. Exchanged a couple emails with them, and here’s the entire conversation.
Initially, I started off with asking them why my account was banned. I bought it less than 24 hours ago, and it was deleted.
Yes, pretty much noobish. They have a transparent limit of 200GB/day. They do not publicly mention about this limit anywhere on their website, and then try to cover it with their generic lies of ‘account sharing’ and ’system cheating’.
And of course, as expected. Their amateurish reply. Whoever was assigned to deal with emails, is not mature enough to handle it. A slightly provoking comment was all it took for them to ‘tawk liike thiis’. Their phrases, ‘what will you do’, ‘we are not amateurs’, etc.. you would believe you were talking to some newbie on the web!

Final Verdict?
As of right now, we’ll drop support for Hotfile. For the next 24-48 hours, that is.
I need to talk to Dman, and figure a solution to this situation. Up until today, me and Dman agreed that Rapidshare was gay, and popular for no reason. We’ve just reconsidered that. And now we truly know, why Rapidshare really IS popular, despite all their unfair policies. At least, they put those policies out there, instead of misleading their premium users. In the case of Hotfile, they could not have cared less.
